First time at Pizza Mezzaluna despite the fact I’ve known about it for ages. Won’t be my last time, though. Went with my friend and former Paulie Gee’s coworker John Wozniak, who suggested we try the Marlonzola. GOOD CALL. It’d been too long since I’d had a pear-and-Gorgonzola-topped pizza, and this one hit the spot. The crust is very light and crisp. Wood-fired oven here. The space itself is cute. Sharp yet casual in a sort of European way. Seeing as how this is a quick train ride for me from my office, I’m going to explore the red pies soon.
